"Come Now Lord Jesus"
So He, himself,(Jesus) received the just, and wrathful punishments for mankind's sins (from the Father) that is due to "all mankind", so, that mankind could enter into the glory of "His Presence", rather than enter into the eternal darkness, and never-ending punishments in Hell, and the Lake Of Fire.
After He was killed by those he came to save, and, after He stood-in and received the punishments due for mankinds sins, Jesus went to heaven to prepare a place for those who would believe him. After he left the earth, He sent the Holy Spirit back to the earth to dwell within the "Hearts" of mankind, (those who believe on His Name).
The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, the Keeper, and the Teacher of those who will believe in the "Saving Work" of Lord Jesus. It is only through the power of the Holy Spitit that anyone is able to come to, and, maintain their faith in God The Father, and in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. (Is He Calling You?)

God the Father did not destroy His creation "mankind", even though He would have been justlfied in doing so. Instead he entered into a body of flesh as "The Word Of God", and then taught His creation, (mankind) that He,(who's name is Jesus Christ, the Word of God.) and He alone has the power to deliver them from God's just, and pending wrath, and, from the eternal punishments for sin.
